Beach Day at Dahican Surf Resort

Ah it’s been awhile since I posted again, but here’s something recent and yet another beach trip~

It was a Sunday and my best friend planned to go to Mati City to accompany her college friends in applying for a job, so they decided to include a beach trip as well. Since I’ve been eager to visit the beach as well and miss my best friend, I tagged along.

To be honest, I wasn’t sure if my best friend would push through because of some reason that’s why on the day of their trip, I didn’t set up an alarm. I woke up to her call saying she’s already in Mati. lol. I rushed to take a bath and just in time for them to pick me up in my apartment. We headed to Dahican right away and it was crowded. It’s like their usual operations. Of course, there were preventive measures to be implemented. They were able to adapt to the situation by placing hand washing areas and providing survey forms before entering the resort itself.

I wasn’t really up to dipping in the water so I didn’t bring a change of clothes. During our stay, me and Ell took photos and clips while her friends basked in the sun. We later on walked to the other side (in another resort) since it wasn’t crowded. It was really peaceful just sitting under the shade of a coconut tree and just talking.

After lunch, we rested on the rooftop part of DSR and relaxed. The view was really nice and calming. If only it would be like that everyday.

When it was around 4pm, we decided to leave so that we could visit Sala Surf Cafe. It was the only cafe in the city and I love the vibes of the place. It was a good thing that they have a cafe like that here since I really miss going out to cafes and just chill. We didn’t stay long though, since they had to go back and it would take a 3-4 hour drive.

Once I get my camera back home, I’ll definitely try to shoot at the cafe.

Anyway, that’s all for now and if you want, you can watch the vlog version of this here. 💛
